At MB Ashtekar Jewellers, we take utmost care to ensure that your jewellery reaches you securely, safely, and in a timely manner. This Shipping & Delivery Policy governs all online purchases made through our official website.
All online orders are processed strictly on a 100% advance payment basis.
By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. ORDER PROCESSING & DISPATCH
1.1 Orders are processed only upon successful receipt of full payment.
1.2 MB Ashtekar Jewellers shall dispatch orders within 48 hours of payment confirmation, excluding Sundays, public holidays, and force majeure events.
1.3 Orders requiring resizing, engraving, customisation, or made-to-order manufacturing may require additional time. The estimated dispatch timeline shall be communicated separately.
2. SHIPPING CHARGES
2.1 Free Shipping – Pune City
We offer free standard shipping within Pune city limits.
Express or same-day delivery (if available and requested) may attract additional charges.
2.2 Shipping Outside Pune
Orders shipped outside Pune city limits may attract shipping and insurance charges.
Applicable charges will be displayed at checkout before payment confirmation.
The Company reserves the right to determine serviceable locations based on courier partner coverage and security feasibility.
3. DELIVERY TO THE RECIPIENT (MANDATORY VERIFICATION)
To ensure secure delivery of high-value jewellery:
3.1 Customers must provide:
- Full name of recipient (as per government-issued photo ID)
- Complete delivery address with landmark
- Correct PIN code
- Active contact number
3.2 At the time of delivery, the recipient must present one valid original government-issued photo ID, such as:
- Passport
- PAN Card
- Driver’s License
- Voter ID
- Aadhaar Card
3.3 Our courier partner may verify and record ID details for security and compliance purposes.
Recipient cooperation is mandatory for successful delivery. Failure to provide valid ID may result in delivery refusal.
4. DELIVERY LOCATIONS
Orders will be delivered only to:
- Residential addresses
- Verified office addresses
- MB Ashtekar Jewellers stores (for confirmed in-store pickup)
We do not deliver to:
- Hotels
- Restaurants
- Hostels
- Public places
- Malls
- Open or unsecured locations
If the recipient is unavailable, delivery will be attempted up to three (3) times. After repeated failure, the order will be returned to our facility. Re-dispatch may attract additional charges.
5. DELIVERY TIMELINES (POST DISPATCH)
Estimated timelines:
- Pune City: 1–2 business days
- Within Maharashtra: 2–4 business days
- Rest of India: 3–7 business days
Timelines are indicative and may vary due to courier operations, regulatory checks, or unforeseen disruptions.
MB Ashtekar Jewellers shall not be liable for delays attributable to third-party logistics providers.
6. SHIPMENT SECURITY & RISK TRANSFER
6.1 All jewellery is shipped in secure, tamper-evident packaging.
6.2 High-value shipments may be insured and require signature-based delivery.
6.3 Risk and title pass to the Customer upon confirmed delivery at the registered shipping address.
6.4 Customers are strongly advised to record a continuous unboxing video at the time of opening the parcel.
7. SHIPMENT DISCREPANCIES
Customers must carefully inspect the parcel at the time of delivery.
Any issues such as:
- Damaged packaging or product
- Missing items
- Additional items not ordered
- Evidence of tampering

Failure to report within 72 hours may result in rejection of claim.
8. MISSING PRODUCTS
Before signing the delivery acknowledgment, please verify package contents.
If any item is missing, report it within 72 hours of receipt.
Our team will investigate and respond within 7 working days. Claims raised beyond the stipulated timeframe may not be accepted.
9. NON-RECEIPT OF ORDER
Upon dispatch, a tracking ID will be shared via registered email.
A delivery confirmation will also be sent once marked delivered.
If you have not received your order despite delivery confirmation:
- Contact us within 72 hours of delivery notification.

We will investigate and resolve the matter within 7 working days.
Delayed reporting may limit our ability to process claims. Chargebacks initiated without first following this grievance procedure shall not be honored.
10. FAILED DELIVERY / INCORRECT ADDRESS
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery details.
MB Ashtekar Jewellers shall not be liable for:
- Incorrect address provided
- Delivery failure due to customer unavailability
- Additional re-delivery charges
Re-shipment after return-to-origin may attract additional shipping charges.
11. GIFT PACKAGING
We offer complimentary gift wrapping along with a personalized message card.
To include a gift message, enter your message in the “Gift Message” section at checkout. The message will be printed and included in the package.
12. FORCE MAJEURE
MB Ashtekar Jewellers shall not be liable for delays or non-performance due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Government restrictions
- Natural disasters
- Transport strikes
- Supply chain disruptions
- Pandemic-related restrictions
13. POLICY REVISIONS
MB Ashtekar Jewellers reserves the right to update or amend this Shipping & Delivery Policy at any time without prior notice. Updated versions shall be published on the official website and shall take effect immediately upon publication.
